LOVE ONE ANOTHER CAPITAL CAMPAIGN UPDATE

We have contracted with Gilbertson’s Stained Glass in Lake Geneva to repair three stained-glass windows in most need at a cost of $99,700.  These windows show deflecting and buckling and a lot of paint loss.  You may have noticed a missing stained-glass window near the St. Joseph statue at the front of church.  The window was removed on Thursday, March 5 with an approximate return date of 6-8 weeks.  The other windows to be repaired are the 2 white/yellow windows on the south side of the church.  

As part of the process each of the 25 windows in church was evaluated.  A number of the windows are currently in good shape and have been placed on a watch list.  

All the windows in the church are original from 1880 and have had very few, in any, repairs in 145 years.
